Parallel Dreams (Derek and Shona Tate) have partnered with Andrew Lockerbie, (who between them has over 70 years teaching experience around the world) to update the successful pocket sized Ski Instructors Handbook, originally produced in the 1980’s.
The aim of this Handbook is to aid and ensure the quality of Instructors delivery and use of teaching tools, with a focus on you getting great feedback & prompt return business. The Ski Instructors Handbook Book 2 guarantees to be a valuable resource for all levels of instructors, providing progression exercises for all stages of development from beginner to carving using valuable fundamental elements at each learning phase and taking into consideration the changing environments.
This new book has been designed as a tool to assist the instructor to develop their clients, educate them about a safe environment for skiing so to be able to enjoy travelling around the mountain safely using the appropriate fundamentals at each stage of their learning.

Here are the Christmas & New Year opening/closing dates. Our christmas party is on SATURDAY 10TH DECEMBER 2011 at the Corbyn Head Hotel Torquay, at a cost of £26.00 please phone the ski club for details.

TASC are hosting a Salomon demo night on thursday 17th november from 6:00pm till 9:00pm.
There will be all this years skis and snowboards available to test. This will cost £5 per person any age.
